Again, setting up the PPA as directed by the install section of fails at my attempts to 'sudo apt-install darkatble', with multiple mutually incompatible dependency errors. I expected that this would work as it is (I thought) based on Debian 11 'stable'. Today I tried installing the latest released version of darktable from the OBS - which is 4.4.1 (4.4.2 not there yet). LMDE5 is not built on these versions of Debian. The argument was that all of the master branch snapshots available via the OBS required either Debian Testing or Debian Unstable - initially at version 11 and than at version 12. The advice I got from various obvious obviously knowledgeable people in the daktable community was that I would need to change to a different distro. If a folder is given darktable starts in lighttable view with the content of that folder as the current collection.-version Print the darktable version number, a copyright notice, some other useful information, and then terminate.-disable-opencl Prevent darktable from initializing the OpenCL subsystem. I was running master branch of darktable (4.3.something) from the PPA defined in 'install' topic on for some time, From a few months ago the *.deb version from the OBS failed install. Darktable 4.2.0 is now available, adding new features to the open-source Raw image editing application. Apologies if this looks like I'm resurrecting an issue which has been closed - but I'm having a problem
